Just trying to create and kick-off some early buzz & excitement….So last year I had to postpone the Håle’ CHamoru – CHamoru Roots Workshop. I am now working on the planning and coordination to have this event some time either late April or early May 2022 next year on Guam. I have strategically chosen this timeframe in anticipation of the Guam Micronesian Islands Fair happening (not confirmed by GVB yet) and the first måñåhåk run of the year, of course!
Let me know if you are interested in attending. If you are living abroad, now is good time to start planning. Let’s take a trip back home where we can also contribute to her economy.
Venue location on Guam is also to be determined.
I hope to have more information in a few weeks to continue solidifying these arrangements for the workshop. I also need to confirm with some of my original presenters if they will be able to participate in 2022. It’s looking good for now. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Laura Souder, Pale Eric and Herman “Jun Pan” Guerrero have already indicated to me their availability to participate. Biba!
